Amala Paul is reaching high soon in Kollywood. She is now busy with Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal and a movie in Telugu now. The actress, who was last seen in Vikram's Deiva Thirumagal, has reportedly bagged a biggie to her kitty. Well, she has been roped in by director Hari for his next project Singam 2, which stars Surya.
Buzz is that Amala was the first choice of director Hari for his sequel to his earlier blockbuster, Singham. After essaying the demanding role of Bodhidharman for 7am Arivu, Surya has deliberately moved on to a relatively less arduous mass masala script helmed by Hari, who is a past master of the genre.
Direcor Hari after coming across her looks of her earlier films, he directly met director Lingusamy and asked him to show some trailors of her upcoming Tamil movie Vettai. After going through it, he felt that Amala was the right candidate for the role and he offered her.
Hari's Singam 2 is a sequel to Singam, which starred Surya and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles.
