Surya's 7aum Arivu is crowned as 2011 blockbuster

Now Surya is very happy with 7aum Arivu. It is still in box office and also running successfully. There were many rumours about 7aum Arivu. Having released on October 25, surya’s biggie ’7aum Arivu’ has opened to mixed reviews.

Udhayanidhi Stalin has come out and cleared the rumours and he added, “7aum Arivu that opened a day prior to ‘Velayutham’ and thanks to the five day festival weekend and five shows permitted by the government, the film has grossed a little over than Velayudham”.

It is now crowned as the year’s blockbuster. The trade analysts have now reported that last year Surya’s ‘Singam’ was a superb hit as it spanned whooping amount of profit for the producers.

But with the release of 7aum Arivu he has broken his own record of Singam. Before the release itself, it starts with high expectations. Now Surya is busy in his next upcoming film “Maatran” along with Kajal Agarwal. It is directed by K V Anand which is too expected as a hit film in 2012.
